Every industry has its own esoteric language and terms used by the experts. Every industry also has its own interpretations, inexactness, tricks, and uncertainties. Most customers who are purchasing or evaluating motion systems are not motion experts but rather, experts in their respective fields. Sometimes it takes an expert to help decipher the best solution, what the specified performance means, what risks are not obvious, or how to specify a requirement.

I’m free of the marketing vs engineering balance that occurs at every vendor. This is one of the areas where I can provide the most immediate value with minimal time commitment.
