Specialty Controller Algorithms

Setup of a motion controller can be relatively simple but many of today’s technologies require advanced integration techniques.  This requires a system engineering approach and can involve additional sensors, algorithms, triggers, or kinematics.  I have expertise in the hardware, electronics, software, and sensors/feedback to tie all the disciplines together and produce an efficient, functional system.  I can assist in any of the following areas but am also willing to dive into new applications and functions.

  • System level 2D planar and 3D volumetric compensation algorithms
  • Thermal compensation (real-time and normalization)
  • Kinematics or coordinate system transformations (Hexapod, Hybrid Hexapods, Gimbals, Tripods, custom 4,5, and 6 DOF mechanics)
