Concept development is the area where most engineering teams encounter the most iteration. At this point in a project, even the goals can be unclear, making defining the mechanics, control system, or system integration path even more difficult. I have experience working on 100+ development programs that started at this initial phase. I also have broad experience in the myriad motion system technologies, designs, and applications. This experience enables me to assess vague situations and help provide certainty where others may not see any.
In concept development, my goal is to eliminate the wrong turns and recognize the problems that should be prioritized. I can help isolate where off-the-shelf components or stages would be the right choice and where custom or very purposeful designs need to be prioritized. I can do this while simultaneously balancing cost, timelines, and performance. I’ve worked on many applications over the years and know my experience can help my clients increase their confidence level in getting it right the first time.
